At 11am (it's 3:15pm now, 2:14am Denver time), we went to the scuba shop and did our review. They had us set up our tanks, get the right amount of weight on, and hop in the ocean. We went down about 9 meters (30 is feet) and did some drills. Then we swam around for a little bit and looked at fish. It was fun. After we surfaced, we learned that our masks were fogged the whole time. Our cute instructor, Julia, told us to burn them..and were like "WTF?"!! She meant burn the coating off of them...which we did, and now it's better, we think.
After that we came home, got dressed, and went back over to the other island to eat at our favorite place.
The one thing this place could do a lot better is provided transportation between the islands. There is a ferry, but it doesn't come regularly. When we went to a nice resort in Mexico, they had shuttles around the resort. We wish they had shuttles here. Not to say that we don't like walking, but walking back and forth multiple times a day is tiring and time consuming...time we could be nappying, or hot tubbing! ;)
Hope you all are sleeping well. It's still stormy here.
<3, Brandy
