The last few days we've had scattered showers during the day, and torrential downpours at night. In fact, we had to have the hotel come put our roof thatching back together just now, because the wind blew it all to pieces. Yesterday is was nice alot, though--enough to get a sunburn, or two. ;)
But let's look at yesterday, the 7th. It was beautiful most of the day! As you read in an earlier blog, we walked the beach, saw a sting ray, some crabs, some sharks and some randowm fish. We snorkeled, hottubbed, and went to Ithaa. At 2pm yesterday we had a side by side couple's massage. My therapist, Orathai, from Thailand, kicked my ass. I think she found every knot in my body and put her elbow in every single one. There were moments I wanted to cry...but I told myself to toughen up--that this was what I get for not stretching and not taking care of my body. :) I still wanted to cry.
After the massage we went to Rangli Bar and had an afternoon snack of Chicken Tikka, which is indian bread, mint yogurt sauce, red chicken, and pickled veggies. DE-LIGHTFUL.
After that, we came home, and about 5:10pm, Eric left for happy hour, and I went to bed....and didn't get out of bed again until about 3:45am this morning. We both missed dinner, but the long nap was worth it!
